**Please note that these Pre-Requisites does not mean that you cannot start working on WBII. Due to the style of camping that this workshop will entail, it is important that we consider safety. This Workshop is not about learning how to set up a tent but rather it is about providing an advanced environment for Scouters to be able to demonstrate the skills outlined in WBII and to provide guidance to those who need.

Forms to be completed and provided to Rosa Buschau no later than May 30, 2025:

  1. Individual Release and Hold-Harmless Agreement
  2. Member Details Report from myscouts.ca

COST: $50.00 (Registration Fee Only)

PATROLS

  • Patrols will be made up of 4-6 Scouters (you do not need to form your own Patrol, we will take care of that for you).
  • Patrols will be responsible to work together to plan and purchase their meals for the weekend.
  • Patrols will be responsible to bring their own camping and kitchen gear. This includes water for their patrol.

FACILITATORS

  • Facilitators will provide hands on insight and knowledge to help Patrols work together to complete a meal plan and plan for suitable equipment.
  • Facilitators will provide hands on assistance with a proper campsite layout.
  • Facilitators will provide courses throughout the weekend to provide Patrols with the opportunity to demonstrate the skills required for WBII.
  • Facilitators will provide guidance and assistance to Scouters on how to assess their standing with WBII and provide insight on how to continue forward.
  • Facilitators will provide firewood.
  • Facilitators will provide boat transportation from the Government Dock of Big Whiteshell to Camp Alloway.
