Registration and Fees

Participant Group Camp Registrations
Online registration will open at noon on Saturday, December 6, 2025 and closes 11pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 or sooner if camp capacity is reached prior to the registration close date.  Participant registration includes youth and their Scouters/Leaders.  Spaces are limited due to camp accommodation size, registration will be first come, first serve basis.  Space is based on bed space and sex accommodations (male, female and other).  **Note: The participant registration system will shut down early if it reaches the capacity set at 110.  If this happens, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for possible spaces due to cancellations, etc.
 
Important Notes to Consider Prior to Registering:
  • All attendees must be registered members of Scouts Canada and "Active" status in the myScouts system at the time of camp
  • Groups need to meet youth to Scouter/Adult ratios as per Scouts Canada guidelines to attend camp.
  • Groups are responsible to submit any approval forms required by Scouts Canada to their group Commissioners for approval, including the Group Adventure Application Form.
  • Scouters/Leaders are responsible to provide a printed medical form for each attendee to Scout Amik for the First Aid team prior to camp or at the time of arrival on site.  You may use a printed copy of the registration form from myScouts.ca or a fully filled in Physical Fitness Form.  These forms will be handed back to the group at camp closing.
  • Groups are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp.  Please do not send youth prior to the leaders arriving on site.
Camp Fees (2026)
Camp fees cover all food, lodging and activity costs.
  • Youth Scouts (Aged 11-14): $70 - Note: a late fee of $10 will be applied to any registrations accepted after the deadline (Jan 9), space permitting.
  • Scouters/Adults Participants: $70 - Note: a late fee of $10 will be applied to any registrations accepted after the deadline (Jan 9), space permitting.
  • Volunteer/OOS: $50 - see Offer of Service/Volunteering page
Payments
IMPORTANT NOTE: Payment is due within 7 days of the date that the registration was submitted to hold the spots.  If payment is not received within 7 days, the registration will be cancelled to free up the spots.  If you register during the last week of registration (Jan 7), payment is due no later than Jan 7.
 
Payments can be made by cheque, cash or Interact E-transfer (email). 
  • If paying by cheque, please submit one cheque for your entire group made out to  “Scouts Canada - Scout Amik”

  • If paying via Interact E-transfer (email), payment should be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. Refunds
  • Full refunds will be issued until January 7 (registration deadline). 
  • Partial refunds of $40 will be issued January 7-25
  • No refunds on/after Monday, January 26

Scout Amik
Attention Ventures, Rovers and Service Adults
We are seeking OOS (Offer of Service) to help at Manitoba's largest winter Scout camp!  Be a part of great experience with a chance to meet lots of new people.  We are looking for about 26-30 volunteers.
 
Your role at Wilderness Challenge
As OOS at Scout Amik, you may be assigned to Saturday and Sunday program and activities, kitchen or other duties as needed.  
  • Kitchen - min 6-8 needed
  • Activities - min 18-20 needed
  • First Aid - 2 (currently full)
 
OOS Camp Registration
Opens Noon December 6, 2025
 
Camp Fees
$50 for 2026.  Camp fees cover all food, lodging, and a crest.

Prerequisites for OOS
  • All OOS attendees must be registered and have a status of "ACTIVE" Scouts Canada member at the time of camp.

 Saturday Night:

  • Late movie

Sunday Morning:

  • Sunday - Ice Fishing on the Lake using Tip-Ups.  Dress warm for the cold.  If you have fishing license, please remember to bring it.
