Covid-19 Guidelines for Camp

**Note: Policies and Guidelines may change at anytime as Covid-19 case numbers change.

The camp will be required to follow the following guidelines to run the day camp activity.  We ask everyone do their part to help us run a safe event within these guidelines to allow the day to run as smoothly as possible.

Manitoba Provincial Public Health Orders:
  • Outdoor public gatherings limited to 500 or if the outdoor venue has a capacity limit, the allowed capacity is 50 per cent or 150 people, whichever is greater.
  • Day camps may open without restriction
Masks Mandates:
  • Outdoors - not required, however they are recommended - especially where social distancing is not possible
  • Indoors (Enclosed Shelters and Outhouses) - are required to be used
Scouts Canada - Stage 4 Standard Guidelines:
  • Size of gatherings: Follow local and provincial guidelines
  • Patrols: 8 youth maximum
  • Sharing of equipment: permitted within Patrols only
  • All groups attending (Cubs, Scouts and Venturers) must complete a Modified Adventure Application Form and submit it to thier group commissioner for approval
  • A Self-Assesment Screening Checklist to be completed by everyone attending the activity prior to site arrival
  • If persons on site become symtomatic during the day, they will be move to seperate area and Supporting a Symptomatic Person Guidelines will be followed.
