Registration for Outdoor Skills Training

All Section Scouters require the Outdoor Skills as part of their WB II.

DATE:  Saturday, October 5, 2024

TIME:  08:30 AM Registration

            9:00 AM - 6 PM Training

LOCATION: The training location will be held SE of Portage la Prairie, between Oakville & Southport, as shown on map which will be provided with your joining instructions.

REGISTRATION FEE:  $20.00

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Policy Booking cancelled with 2 -3 weeks notice: Full payment will be refunded.  Booking cancelled with 1 week or less notice: No Refunds.  PLEASE NOTE:  All cancellations must be done in writing and e-mailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. TRAINING: includes topics on fires, knots, safe drinking water, compass, maps and dealing with getting lost, weather conditions and hazards, environmental conditions, safe and correct use of camping equipment, emergency day pack, menu planning, camp layout and impacts of outdoor activities on the environment.
