Outdoor Skills Knot Training for Scouters/Leaders

Do “Knot” Miss This Course

Calling all Scouters (new, returning, veteran), parent helpers, and future Scouters.

If the only knot you know is how to tie your shoes? Then this course is for you!

Come out and learn how to tie basic knots, hitches and bends, where they are used, and how to teach the eager youth in our program.

When: Saturday October 1st, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Where: Camp Amisk, located on Waverly Street across from Le Barriere Park. Near the Donut Shelter

What to bring:

  • Camp chair
  • Comfortable clothing to sit outside (hat, sweater/jacket, bug spray)
  • Water bottle and snacks
  • Your great attitude!

In the event of inclement weather, we will move inside the Donut.

This event will take place during the Wilderness Challenge Camp. This is scheduled to coincide with expected down time for Scouters while the youth are participating in the field.

Group Commissioners – Please invite all your Scouters, Scouters-In-Training, and any parent volunteers you have with your group.
